Mayyim Hayyim Gathering the Waters International Mikveh ConferenceColumbus Day Weekend, in Boston Mayyim Hayyim will be hosting its second international mikveh conference, funded in part by The Covenant Foundation, Slingshot Fund and Natan. Clergy, educators, academics, seminary students and lay leaders will gather for an interdenominational exploration into how immersion can be a source of spiritual renewal and understanding for Jews in the 21st century.
Nationally renowned keynote speakers, workshop leaders and leading thinkers will gather for what is sure to be a lively examination of mikveh and its possibilities.
This three-day conference is a follow-up to the successful 2006 Reclaiming Mikveh conference, which was organized by the Outreach Training Institute of the Union for Reform Judaism.
Panels and workshops will provide skill development in the following areas:
